Disney To Replace Blu Ray Copies of “The Little Mermaid” With Audio Issues

Shortly after the remastered re-release of “The Little Mermaid” on Blu Ray and DVD earlier this month, fans took note of some audio errors that were occurring during the song “Part of Your World”.

The error consists of some out of sync audio and video that makes Flounder looks as if he’s singing Ariel’s part and leads to Ariel’s animated movements seem off with the rhythm of the music.

Disney has recently announced that they would be offering replacements to those who are experiencing the issue and inclined to wait a few weeks for the replacement copy to arrive.

This issue seems to only be affecting the 2D Blu Ray versions of the film so verify you are having the problem which could be limited to a bad batch.
