Disney’s “Frozen” Breaks Box Office Records With $93 Million

Frozen

Thanksgiving is over and the numbers are in, “Frozen” is a hit!

From the same folks that brought you “Tangled” and “Wreck It Ralph”, “Frozen” tells the story of two sisters, Anna and Elsa, who must grow up apart due to Elsa’s inability to control her powers of being able to create ice with her bare hands.

When she becomes the Queen of Arendelle, emotions fly at the coronation and Elsa feels forced to live in the mountains taking residence in a castle she conjured out of ice magic leaving her city covered in snow and ice.

Anna goes on a journey to talk reason into her sister and help bring Arendelle back to normal. What results is a wonderful character story with sibling drama, romance and comedy.

The music is phenomenal and I can almost promise you’ll be humming the songs days after you see the film.

The story, like “Tangled”, is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story, “The Ice Queen”.

“Frozen” closed the 5 day weekend with $93 million in box office sales.

Did you see “Frozen” this weekend? How did you like it?

I saw it and loved it. I’ve actually seen it twice and plan to watch it another time tomorrow. LOL! Especially because I learned you can see cameos by Tiana and Naveen from “The Princess and the Frog” and Rapunzel and Flynn Rider from “Tangled” in the “For The First Time In Forever” musical sequence.
