Sorcerer Mickey Takes To The Skies With WestJet

Disney Magic Jet Exterior

As a fan of both Disney and aviation (I have my private pilot’s license), I really couldn’t be more excited to be writing about this awesome livery brought to you by Disney and WestJet.

The Boeing 737-800 is one of the smaller commercial jets manufactured by Boeing but  it packs a big punch with a pretty economical fuel rate per passenger. Thanks to WestJet and the Canadian division of Disney Parks, the jet was given the magic treatment both inside and out.

The exterior of the jet features the classic Sorcerer Mickey painted on the vertical stabilizer (fancy aviation term for tail) who is shooting magic up the fuselage (fancy aviation term for body) towards the nose.

The inside of the “Magic Jet” is just as impressive as the comfy looking seats have star designs stitched into the headrest and passengers are served cookies in the shape of Disney characters.

The “Magic Jet” from WestJet is currently based in Calgary and is set to make its maiden voyage today.
