Disney to Open Theme Park on The Moon in 2036

Disneyland, Disney World, it was only a matter of time before Disney took things to the next level by announcing a Disney Park in Space.

Disney Galaxies will be a Star Wars themed park slated to open on The Moon sometime in 2036. The company noted that commercial space travel should be readily available within the next 15 years and it would homage Walt Disney’s love of space and futurism.

There are few details at this time as Disney will likely not start construction until 2025.
